A Georgian family is affected by the absence of the father, who abandoned them years ago without explanation. The two teenage boys steal radios from local cars in order to help their mother. An unexpected plot-twist occurs during one such robbery.
Regie Biografie
DAVIT PIRTSKHALAVA, born in 1987, studied at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Georgia State Film University in Tbilisi. He is the author and co-author of many short and feature-length films. Father is his directorial debut and won the Golden Leopard for Best International Short at the Locarno International Film Festival 2015.
