Milda wird von der Nachricht vom Tod ihres Großvaters überrumpelt: Nicht wissend wie sie mit Trauer und Verlust umgehen soll, überspielt sie ihre Gefühle mit jugendlicher Lebensfreude – so lange sie kann. Poetisch erzählt und mit Gefühl für Form inszeniert.

Her grandfather died. And Milda does not want to go to the funeral. As she does not know how to deal with sadness and grief, she is enjoying life as good as she can – and as long as she can.

Regie Biografie

Kamilė Milašiūte, born 1990 in Vilnius, studies Film Directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater and is currently working on her diploma film. AFTER RAVE was financed through crowdfunding and was shown in 2015 at the Short Film Festival Clermont-Ferrand and the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
