Wu Xia
Eine Auseinandersetzung mit der in Asien äußerst populären Hong Kong Trilogie THE SWORDSMAN aus den frühen 90er-Jahren. Besonderes Merkmal ist die permanente Hintergrundmusik. Die drei Filme wurden um alle Szenen mit Hintergrundmusik und Dialog gekürzt. Die Gesamtspieldauer wurde dadurch von 325 Min. auf etwas über vier Minuten zusammengeschnitten.
An engagement with the Hong Kong trilogy THE SWORDSMAN from the early 90s, which was extremely popular in Asia. A special characteristic of the series is the permanent background music. The three films were shortened by the removal of all the scenes with background music and dialog. The entire film length was thus cut down from 325 min. to four minutes. A reduction of the narrative just through image.
