Stuck in a Groove
Stuck in a Groove ist der erste realisierte Film in der selbstentwickelten Phonovideotechnik. Ein Bastard aus der Phenakistokoptechnik des frühen 19ten Jahrhunderts und Turntablism erlaubt diese Filme live und ohne Mithilfe von Computern zu erzeugen bzw. zu mischen. Analog zur Technik fragt der Film, was Poploops, Nietzsches ewige Wiederkehr, Plattencover, perfekte Momente und Quarterlifecrisis so miteinander zu tun haben.
This is the first film made with the self-developed phonovideo technique. A bastard of the phenakistoscope technique of the early 19th century and turntablism makes it possible to generate or mix these films live and without the help of a computer.
Director's Biography
CLEMENS KOGLER, geb. 1980 in Steyr. Seit 1999 Studium der Malerei und Grafik an der Kunstuniversität Linz.
