Trys Dienos

In den postindustriellen Ruinen von Kaliningrad treffen zwei litauische Burschen auf zwei russische Mädchen. Wortlos bekundet man Interesse, doch in der feucht-verfallenen Altstadt lässt sich kein Platz finden, um miteinander zu schlafen. Drei Tage treiben die jungen Frauen und Männer (einer davon gespielt von Audrius Stonys) durch die braungrauen Gässchen, drücken sich in Hinterhöfen herum und stehen lethargisch auf den überdimensionierten Waschbetonplätzen der Sowjets. Eine alptraumhafte Raumbefühlung, in der die vergessene Stadt den erzwungenen Dämmerschlaf ihrer Bewohner symbolisiert. (Maya McKechneay)

Among the post-industrial ruins of Kaliningrad two Lithuanian boys meet two Russian girls. Interest is conveyed without words, but in the damp and decayed old city they can’t find a place to sleep with each other. For three days the young women and men (one of them played by Audrius Stonys) wander through the brown and grey alleys, slink around in back courtyards and stand lethargically in the over-sized concrete squares of the Soviets. A nightmarish probing of space, in which the forgotten city symbolizes the forced half-sleep of its inhabitants.
