Festival Awards 2022
01.05.2022 // The Awards Ceremony of the 19th edition of the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz took place today in the Ursulinensaal of the OÖ Kulturquartier, the atmospheric evening was hosted by Karin Schmid.
In the presence of jury members, numerous film guests, industry representatives and the trade press from Austria and abroad, as well as representatives of funding partners, sponsors and representatives of cultural policy - a.o. Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer, Provincial Councillor for Social Affairs, Integration & Youth, Municipal Councillor Merima Zukan, Doris Lang-Mayerhofer, City Councillor for Culture, Tourism and Creative Industries, gfk Board Member Susanne Pollinger, Georg Tremetzberger (Managing Director Creative Region Linz & Upper Austria), Marco Zinz (Managing Director The Grand Post - Audio & Picture Post Production) - the CROSSING EUROPE AWARDS (cash & non-cash prizes worth € 26.500,-) were awarded. Sabine Gebetsroither and Katharina Riedler drew a very positive resumee in their first year as festival directors.
