Film Submission - EUROPEAN FILMS

Please note! The submission deadline for the next edition of the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival was on 8 January, 2024. If you have any questions regarding the submission process, please contact .

If your film has been selected, you will get a notification - at the latest by the end of February 2024. If you do not get any notification from us until the end of February 2024, your film has not been selected for the festival program. For organizational reasons, we will not send out notifications for films which have not been selected. We hope you can understand!

NOTE: This does not include films that were submitted for the Local Artists section! All Local Artists will be notified if they have been selected or not by the end of February 2024.

Please note: ONLY feature-length films (60 minutes or longer, all genres) can be submitted for the European program sections. Short films will not be accepted.

What is considered a “European Film”?

According to the CROSSING EUROPE festival regulations, a film is considered "European" if it was (co-)produced in one of the countries of the continent. In addition, the film should tell stories from, related to or about Europe.
