Stalinka - Hitlerbau

In 2009/2010 Denis Romanovski and Elisa Andessner conducted twenty-three interviews in Minsk and Linz with residents of “Hitler buildings” and “Stalinkas”. They investigated parallels and differences between the residential buildings of the NS dictatorship in Linz and the Soviet dictatorship in Minsk.

Director's Biography

ELISA ANDESSNER, geb. 1983 in Leoben, studierte an der Kunstuniversität Linz und arbeitet im Bereich Performance, Video und Fotografie. DENIS ROMANOVSKI, geb. 1970 in Minsk (Weißrussland), studierte an der Kungl. Konsthögskolan in Stockholm und arbeitet im Bereich Neue Medien und Performance. // STALINKA – HITLERBAU (2011) ist ihr erster gemeinsamer Film.
