Rotonda_Birgit & Paolo

The film is the second part of a work dealing with insights into private spaces. As in ROTONDA – XANADU, the portal is the window that allows glimpses of people and interior spaces. The people are in personal situations that contrast the perfect furnishings. Viewers penetrate into these private spheres through a lamella-like curtain and can liberate themselves from their own bleakness by sating their own lust for looking.

Director's Biography

THOMAS STEINER, geb. 1956 in Wels, studierte u.a. an der Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst in Wien.
