Oderland. Fontane

The Oderbruch, a cultivated landscape of paradisiac beauty, as described by German novelist Theodor Fontane. Bernhard Sallmann’s Oderland. Fontane is both an essayistic documentary paying tribute to Fontane as well as a contemplative stream of images and reflections about nature, man, and the relationship between them.

Director's Biography
BERNHARD SALLMANN, geb. 1967 in Linz. Studium der Publizistik, Germanistik und Soziologie in Salzburg und Berlin sowie Filmregie an der Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Freier Filmemacher, lebt in Berlin.
