Nowhere

When fleeing from the oppression of the communist regime in Vietnam, eight-year-old Ngoc managed to survive alone on a boat odyssey for three weeks. Thanks to an Austrian family who already had four small children of their own, he managed to completely integrate into Austrian society and grew up to become a renowned TCM doctor. Forty years later he decides to give medical aid to arriving boat refugees on the island of Lesbos. There he realises that his own destiny is repeated in the fate of this new generation of refugees. Intent on finding peace, together with his 12-year-old son Kai he embarks on a difficult journey into his own past.
