The music video commissioned by the rock band „garish“ from Burgenland for the single release from their current album „Absender auf Achse“ (PATE 19) shows the stage performance of a provincial magician from the perspective of his assistant. Always placed next to or behind him, her subjective camera perspective reveals the tricks and artifices of the supposed protagonist. Her timed, rigidly defined work routine, which is carried out on, but mostly behind stage, increasingly draws the attention of the audience to the inner life of the woman, whose body is pierced and divided at the climax of the show by the master‘s sword.
