Lost Melody
The supporting architecture of the story of Lost Melody links two narrative strands: Super-8 shots from 1976 show documentary childhood memories that are recurrently interwoven into a fictional framework plot. A female voice-over assumes the narrator function. She refers to Gertrude Stein, Hermann Hesse. The result is a film essay on the lost melody of the subject, a remix of Hesse, Stein and Fölsterl.
