The Hypnosis

In order to finally quit smoking, Vera begins a course of hypnotherapy. Shortly after the seemingly harmless start, however, an extraordinary side effect emerges: Vera loses all her social inhibitions. This extreme character change not only affects her relationship with her boyfriend, André, but also her professional career. Ernst De Geer's feature film debut is a fresh, modern satire, peppered with situation comedy and relatable dialogues. THE HYPNOSIS makes fun of our individualistic society that pretends to promote self-realisation and authenticity.
