Hammerweg
Farewell and remembrance as a means for reconstructing reality using the tool of memory. An excavator shovel bites a hole into a house, revealing a clear view into the past. The working class neighborhood of Hammerweg will disappear and with it the microcosm of proletarian life and the associated culture of everyday life.
Director's Biography
Alenka Maly, geb. 1969 in Wels, ist oberösterreichische Schauspielerin und Regisseurin. Nach Studium und Jahren am Theater im In- und Ausland arbeitet sie seit 2002 als Filmemacherin mit Blick auf gesellschaftliche Wirklichkeiten vorwiegend in Österreich.
