Gary Lucas & GOLEM

In January 1998 American guitarist Gary Lucas performed in Slovenska kinoteka (Slovene cinematheque) in Ljubljana, accompanying the German silent classic Golem with his live music. After the screening finished, Gary Lucas - who is perhaps most known for his collaborations with famous musicians such as Capt. Beefheart, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Iggy Pop, Leonard Bernstein, Jeff Buckley and many more - continued with a solo concert. Peter Braatz's film allows us to hear and see Gary's silent film soundtrack and offers an interesting interview with the legendary musician.
