One out of eight women will fall ill with breast cancer at some point in her life. During a chemotherapy session, actress Frederike befriends tram driver Marijana. They share their fears, hopes, and longings. They inspire one another through their sense of humor. Meanwhile, their battle against this life-threatening disease demands grave decisions.
Director's Biography
Sabine Derflinger, geboren in Wels, lebt in Wien und Berlin. Studium Drehbuch und Dramaturgie an der Wiener Filmakademie. Gründungsmitglied von dok.at (2000), Jurymitglied im Filmbeirat des Bundeskanzleramtes (1999-2001). Lehrbeauftragte am Publizistikinstitut der Universität Wien.
