Die Arbeiterinnen verlassen die Fabrik
The work refers to the film Workers Leaving The Lumière Factory in Lyon by the Brothers Lumière from 1895. There is a special focus here on the German translation of the title through the modernization of it. The altered title ("ArbeiterInnen" = women workers) draws attention to the protagonists, the majority of which had already been women in the original film.
