Involuntary
It’s almost summer in Sweden and minor indiscretions and misbehavior abound. Leffe likes to show off for his friends and play salacious pranks, especially when he’s drinking. Meanwhile, a self-righteous grade-school teacher doesn’t know where to draw the line: she insists her fellow educators need a bit of instruction. Then there are two young teenage girls who like to party and pose for sexy photos, but one night in a park, a complete stranger finds one of the girls passed out drunk. A humorous look at lessons to learn, lectures to give and lines not to cross.
Director's Biography
Ruben Östlund, geboren 1974 in Styrsö, Schweden. Studium Film und Fotografie an der Universität Göteborg. Schon davor drehte er als erfahrener Schifahrer die Kurzfilme Free radicals 1-3 (1995-98), eine völlig neue Methode, Wintersport darzustellen. Gemeinsam mit Erik Hemmendorff gründete Ruben Östlund 2002 Plattform Produktion.
