Director's Biography
Radu Jude
Born in Bucharest in 1977. In 2003 he graduated from the Filmmaking department of the Bucharest Media University. Apart from working as an assistant director for Costa-Gavras and Cristi Puiu, he has shot several feature and short films and over 100 commercials. For “Aferim!” he won the Berlinale Silver Bear in 2015, and for “Scarred Hearts” he received the Special Jury Prize at Locarno Festival 2016.
