Festival Program 2021
19.05.2021 // In the Cinema: Experience Europe! – The CROSSING EUROPE film program invites you on a journey all across Europe. For not quite a week, between 1 and 6 June, 123 current feature films and documentaries from 40 different countries are waiting to be discovered, including highlights from this festival season, innovative auteur cinema, and regional film productions.
CROSSING EUROPE 2021 will be held as an in-person event from 1 to 6 June. After the forced break due to the pandemic, CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz will dedicate itself for the eighteenth time to presenting ambitious European filmmaking and to offer the possibility to enter into an exchange with the attending filmmakers. For six days the inner city of Linz will transform in the pulsating center of the festival. In addition we will offer streaming possibilities “Crossing Europe VOD Premieres 2021” on the Austrian streaming platform KINO VOD CLUB (6 June to 6 July).
It goes without saying that all activities surrounding the festival will adhere to the current rules and regulations concerning the containment of the Covid-19 pandemic, and that the health and well-being of our audiences and team are a top priority.
