UN DIVERTISSEMENT D'AMOUR ist der Versuch einer Re-Inszenierung von Platons Symposion unter Verwendung von philosophischen Textfragmenten. Bezugnehmend auf Roland Barthes' Figuren in Discourse amoureux und Platons Symposion sitzen 4 Personen an einem Tisch und reden über die Liebe. Während das Setting statisch ist, übernimmt die Kamera die choreographische Funktion. Die Dramaturgie des Films ist ein Spiel von Inkongruenzen von Bild und Ton.

UN DIVERTISSEMENT D'AMOUR is the attempt to re-stage Plato’s Symposium using philosophical text fragments. In reference to Roland Barthes's figures in Discourse amoureux and Plato’s Symposium, four people sitting at a table talk about love. Whereas the setting is static, the camera takes over the choreographic function. The dramaturgy of the film is a play of incongruities of image and sound.
