Der Film ist der zweite Teil einer Arbeit, welche sich mit Einblicken in private Räume beschäftigt. Wie bei ROTONDA – XANADU ist die Pforte das Fenster, die Blicke auf Menschen und Innenräume erlaubt. Der Zuschauer dringt durch einen lamellenartigen Vorhang in diese Privatsphären ein, und kann sich durch das Stillen seiner Blicklust aus seiner eigenen Öde befreien.

The film is the second part of a work dealing with insights into private spaces. As in ROTONDA – XANADU, the portal is the window that allows glimpses of people and interior spaces. The people are in personal situations that contrast the perfect furnishings. Viewers penetrate into these private spheres through a lamella-like curtain and can liberate themselves from their own bleakness by sating their own lust for looking.
