Romance

Die Elemente von romance sind ein Statement in französischer Sprache, die Übersetzung des Textes in acht Sprachen kombiniert mit footage Material vom Arbeitertraining in der jungen Sowjetunion und einer superbunten Computeranimation. Die Stimme aus dem Off spricht in romantisierender Weise die Möglichkeiten künstlerischer Solidarität an, ist jedoch offensichtlich selbst Teil der das System produzierenden Maschinerie.

The elements of romance are: a statement in French, the translation of the text in eight languages combined with footage material of workers‘ training in the young Soviet Union and a very colourful computer animation. The voice-over mentions the possibilities of artistic solidarity in a romanticising way, but the voice itself is obviously part of the machinery producing the system.
