Film Submission LOCAL ARTISTS

Deadline: 8 January, 2024

In 2024, CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz will take place for the 21st time. The festival focuses on the cinematic works of a young generation of European directors, presented in the program sections Competition (Fiction, Documentary, YAAAS!, Local Artists) and European Panorama, among others. CROSSING EUROPE focuses on unconventional, controversial cinematic positions and socio-politically engaged cinema.

The program section Competition Local Artists is curated and presents a selection of current cinematic works with relevance to Upper Austria from 2023/24. It is intended to present a cross-section of Upper Austrian filmmaking and offers an international platform to the local film scene, established filmmakers and newcomers alike.
