From 29 April to 4 May, Linz will turn into a European hot spot of cinema for the 22nd time: Crossing Europe Film Festival invites new voices as well as established important figures of film to bring their recent works to the provincial capital.
DON'T GIVE UP ON EUROPE
142 feature films, documentaries and short films from 42 countries reflect the diversity of Europe in its many facets and offer the audience the chance to embark on a cinematic journey of discovery into the European soul. Among the titles shown are numerous world premieres as well as internationally award-winning films that will be screened in Austria for the first time. In addition, around 100 film guests from Austria and abroad will provide exciting insights into their work at talks and Q&As.
At today's press conference at Moviemento in Linz, the festival directors Sabine Gebetsroither and Katharina Riedler as well as curators of the program sections will present the festival program 2025.
