Vampires

In a horror sub-genre which has become tired, over-marketed, and boringly conventional, Vampires stands out as being a film which delves deep into vampires’ mythology and history, plays around with it and, most importantly, offers up something new and fascinating. A rare treat indeed. (Emma Hacking; One Metal, onemetal.com) While the mock documentary style isn‘t exactly original the way the vampire theme is handled definitely is, with a whole world within a world of laws, elders and delinquents invented to give Belgian vampire society a weighty believability.
