Mothers talk about their experiences. What is expected of them, what personal and social challenges do they face? Everything is represented: from nuclear families to single parents, homosexual parent constellations to motherhood through artificial insemination. Director's Biography
Birgit Bergmann and Oliver Werani have been making documentaries since 2012. Their focus is primarily on the social margins, whether it is people who live in wagons or the homeless. They are parents of two daughters and founded feinstaubFILM in 2021. Their latest project MOTHERS received funding from the Province of Upper Austria. Director's Filmography (Selection)
