Min Evige Sommer

My Eternal Summer

When fifteen-year-old Fanny and her family face a major life change, they retreat to their summer house. Here, the days follow familiar rhythms, filled with the quiet pleasures of summer – reading a book in the sun, strolling along the beaches. But life is far from simple. Amid intellectual conversations with visiting friends and relatives, an unspoken grief and fear of the inevitable linger – Fanny’s mother is growing weaker, and this will be their last summer together in their cherished haven. Danish debut director Sylvia Le Fanu draws from her own experiences to craft a sensitive and deeply empathetic drama – a bittersweet reminder of life’s fragile beauty.
