Every summer for her birthday, Albert takes his daughter Jeanne to visit a new country in Europe. She turns 17 this time, and he has picked a small Swedish island, convinced they will find the lost treasure of a legendary Viking there. But the rented house he chose for their stay is already occupied by two women: Anika, the owner of the house, and Christine, a French friend. Albert’s carefully planned holiday will eventually be totally disrupted – all of this to Jeanne’s delight…
Director's Biography
Anna Novion, geboren 1979, hat einen Abschluss an der Universität Saint-Denis, und mit ihrer Abhandlung über Ingmar Bergman, „Anxiety, Guilt and Despair in Bergman’s Films“, an der Universität Jussieu graduiert. Als Kind einer schwedischen Mutter und eines Franzosen, drehte sie mit 19 Jahren ihren ersten Kurzfilm Fredérique est française (2000, KF) in Schweden.
