As the saying goes, “Home is where the heart is”, and it is universally acknowledged that when you leave what once was home, a piece of your heart is often left behind. That’s exactly what two middle-aged siblings, Nikola and Sasa, discover when they return years later to their mother’s house following her death, intending to clear it out. Be they pleasant or painful, past memories, along with the familiar paths of their relationship dynamic will emerge like a lingering scent from what was once a warm nest but now stands desolate, bereft.
