Director's Biography
Isa Schieche, originally from Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria, works as a visual artist and filmmaker in Vienna and Raab and creates participatory objects and installations out of wood. In her sculptural and filmic work, she addresses folklore and crafts, games and dance, sisterhood and queerness. The recipient of the Max Ophüls Award - Best Short Film for THE ROBBERS and of the Dorothea-von-Stetten Art Prize is part of the program board of the Festival der Regionen, which in 2025 will take place in Braunau am Inn.
