ALIEN is a film about autism and identity, created by three autistic individuals: Elsa, Helena, and Sybille.
Director's Biography
Sybille Bauer-Zierfuß (*1989, Linz) is a filmmaker and doctoral student in philosophy at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her work explores topics such as autism, ableism, queer identity, abuse, biographies, death and grief. Elsa Scheel (*2012, Wiener Neustadt) likes to be creative in many different ways. Activities include character design, crocheting, and climbing trees. Helena Paflik (*2012, Klosterneuburg) loves creative design, mangas, anime, and therian/quadrobics.
