Szia Sári!
Don't worry, Sari!
Six years after losing her mother, Sári starts recording her two brothers and her father, in an attempt to hold together a family that, following her mother’s death, is growing apart. Through home videos, interspersed with confessional “letters” to her mother the film presents a bitter yet ineffably tender kaleidoscopic portrait of a family and their implicit efforts to come to terms with the trauma of death. With admirable boldness and an authenticity that both reconciles and liberates, Sári Haragonics’s second film traces the fine threads that weave together past, present, and future only to form the fabric of our lives, in a story that is deeply personal and universal.
